Kyle is a recently qualified Architect at Assael Architecture, having completed his Part 3 studies at the University of Westminster with Distinction.

For his MArchD at Oxford Brookes University, he also graduated with a Distinction & was particularly praised for his final project’s boldness in tackling risqué concepts with sensitivity & originality. This scheme, ‘oXXXford’, combined influences of Oxford’s secret societies, Berlin’s Brutalist Techno clubs & existing Queer spaces to create a monolithic BDSM nightclub in central Oxford that purposefully subverted the city’s existing historic architecture & encouraged debate over the impact conservative ideologies have in suffocating freedom of expression & sexual liberation.

Alongside his studies, he became Oxford Brookes Sport’s inaugural LGBT+ Ambassador, a role that was created to encourage greater Queer confidence & participation in sport. He joined Architecture LGBT+ in summer 2017, since then joining the main committee alongside running our social media pages & assisting in event organisation.

In his spare time he enjoys fitness, creative writing, painting & attending sweaty warehouse raves.

Kyle’s pronouns are he/him.
