Architecture LGBT+ is a UK-wide network for LGBTQ+ people working across architecture and the built environment. We build visibility, belonging and peer support, and advocate for a profession where LGBTQ+ people can thrive at every stage of their careers.

Volunteer-run and community-led, we work towards meaningful change in practice, education and professional life.

The @londonfestivalofarchitecture and @architecturelgbt are inviting architects, designers, students and practices across London to design an installation for the @prideinlondon Parade on 4 July 2026.

Responding to this year’s LFA theme of ‘Belonging’, we’re looking for bold, creative and sustainable proposals that celebrate LGBTQIA+ architects and bring visibility to the profession within one of London’s biggest public celebrations.

The winning team will receive a £5,000 budget to develop and deliver their design for the parade.

Submissions are now open and close on Thursday 4 June ⏳

Pride in London 2021 Pop-up: Rainbow after the Storm

A group of young architects at Foster + Partners won the ‘Pride Pop Up’ competition with the LFA which was exhibited in the gardens of St Anne’s Church in Soho in September. Partnering with Westminster Council, St Anne’s Church and our pride partners, the RIBA.
